Dr Vincent qualified at the London Hospital in 1977 and
has been in full time practice ever since. He is a member of the British Dental
Association. He regularly attends courses and seminars on all aspects of dental
care. He had been unconvinced about the wisdom of using amalgam-filling
material (metal fillings made up of a mixture of silver, copper, tin, zinc and
approximately 50% mercury) for some time. After researching the effects of
mercury on the body and having treated first hand a patient with extreme
mercury toxicity related health problems (who recovered remarkably) he decided
that for the overall health of his patients he would only restore teeth with
non-metallic materials.
